A note from our CEO
The farming sector is under pressure from every direction. Climate volatility, input cost shocks, policy uncertainty, and tightening supply chain demands to name just a few. And the farms that supply our food are suddenly finding that they need to be resilient to all of them at once.
This report draws on data from 1,200 farms across approximately 2% of UK agricultural land — one of the largest farm-level environmental datasets of its kind in the UK. The findings are both urgent and, in important ways, hopeful.
